Hi! I’m Faith
*
I'm a Product Designer with a Masters degree in User Experience Design and an education in Neuroscience and Computer Science.
With a background in technology and research (and an endless curiosity for people), I work across research, design, and development to create experiences that are user-friendly, research-driven, and technically feasible.
This is my story
My fascination for people is what first drew me to Neuroscience.
Coming into university, I was set becoming a neuroscientist. But while my passion for people is what drew me to the field, it's also what made me realize that I want to work with people more closely.
I had a desire to create things for people to use, instead of studying people in a clinical or academic setting.

Picking up a minor in Computer Science, I found my passion for technology.
Coding scratched my itch to build and create things that people used in their everyday lives. I came to see software, unexpectedly, as a deeply creative medium.
But even as I learned to code, I found myself constantly asking why people behaved the way they did with the interfaces I was creating.

User Experience Design blends my deep curiosity about people and my passion for software.
Funnily enough, I found my love for UX design as a programmer for the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy.
While I was initially hired as a programmer, I led the team through a user-centered process where I discovered that I loved not just building software, but understanding how people interact with it, where they get stuck, and how thoughtful design can even spark joy and inspiration.
From neuroscience to computer science to user experience design, I have always been driven by a deep desire to learn, to understand, and to create.
Today, I design with the same curiosity that first drew me to science and code.
